Music Matters Media Productions, LLC Partners with Philly Rock Radio

​PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — MUSIC MATTERS MEDIA PRODUCTIONS, LLC announced they are partnering with online radio station, PhillyRockRadio.com to merge efforts promoting live and original music in Philadelphia and South Jersey.

Launched by Melissa DeBrigida-Parent and Donn Parent in 2016, Music Matters Media Productions has provided media coverage, as well as produced numerous live national and local events. Melissa met Kevin McElroy, owner of Philly Rock Radio, while working with the late Mike Vagnoni and his pioneering publication Out On The Town Entertainment Guide. “It was Mike’s passion for the scene that built a vital model for musicians and venues, and we plan to honor his work by continuing in that tradition,” said DeBrigida-Parent.
 
2023 will see MMMP develop on-air segments in the form of celebrity interviews, concert reviews, live shots, music news, and round table discussions on topics relating to the local music business. The team is also in early discussions about resuming their involvement booking and promoting live shows. 
 
The MMMP partners will make regular appearances on Philly Rock Live hosted by Kevin and Johnny E (Thursdays 7p-9p) to report on the scene and the efforts being made by musicians, promoters and venues. “We’re excited to make our long-time collaboration, and partnering efforts official with Melissa and Donn,” said McElroy. “Their experience will greatly expand our support of the local music scene.”
 
Melissa added, “With every new year comes new endeavors, and we couldn’t have asked for a better team to start this next chapter with.”
