DeSEAN JACKSON On His Way Out?  Well if all of this recent talk comes to fruition...let's take a look back at DeSean Jackson and his best and worst moments as the Starting Wideout for the Philadelphia Eagles....
DeSean Jackson was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the Second Round of the 2008 NFL Draft.  This was actually ten years to the day that the Eagles had selected Franchise Quarterback Donovan McNabb in the First Round of the 1998 Draft.  What was wrong with this picture?  This was the first Wide Receiver with talent that the Eagles had drafted while McNabb was their Quarterback and Team Captain.

In the six seasons plus that Jackson has been the team's starting receiver, he has had some real success.  He has played in 87 Regular Season Games, has 356 Receptions for 6,117 Yards, 17.2 Average Yard Per Reception, 32 Touchdowns, a 91 Yard Reception Single Season High, and has scored a season high 9 Touchdowns twice in his career.  These are pretty decent numbers in themselves; however, Jackson brings more than just stats to the table.  He has many intangibles that have made the Eagles a dangerous offense to compete against.

Along with those Offensive Stats, he also has over 1,200 Punt Return Yards and has returned 4 Punts for Touchdowns.  During the past week with all of these rumors swirling of DeSean's departure from the Eagles, either via trade or being cut, there have been many opinions.  I do not think any knowledgeable sports anaylyst would question Jackson's talent.

Talent is not the main ingredient driving this recent controversy. However, DeSean Jackson has seemed to have fallen out of favor with Team Ownership as well as Management.  It has been reported that coach Chip Kelly tried to reach out numerous times to Jackson about restructuring his contract with no reply.  This would seem like a death sentence for Jackson's career here with the BIRDS.  So with that being said, it is almost a foregone conclusion that Jackson will not play for the Eagles again.  As we wait for a conclusion to this media circus, let's take a look at back at some of Jackson's most memorable moments as a BIRD...
1)  This DeSean Jackson Punt Return capped off a huge comeback by the Eagles against the Giants that has become known as the Miracle of the Meadowland's II.
2)  Jackson would like to forget this moment as he made a huge rookie mistake trying to celebrate a touchdown before actually crossing the plane of the goal resulting in a fumble.
3)  One of DeSean's 4 Punt Returns.
4)  This was not with the Eagles, but has to be shown as it was one of his greatest college plays ever!
5)  DeSean's Ultimate Highlights....
6)  DeSean Jackson Revisited!
WELL DJACK, No matter what happens you will always be remembered in Philly!  You were a STAR.  But never forget...you will NEVER be above a TEAM!  Good Bye DeSEAN:(
